The Alexandre III bag was named as a tribute to a Maison Goyard customer at an evening by Alexandre III Bridge; she was wearing the vintage bag of which this is a re-issue. This bridge is named after the penultimate tsar of Russia, Alexander III, member of the eminent Russian imperial family for whom Maison Goyard was an official supplier.

For the first time, the Alexandre III bag borrows an upholstery effect from our trunks in padded Goyardine. The chain can be altered to different lengths to match the style and the occasion.
